Henderson, Tenn..) -- No. 3 seed Trevecca (31-17) faced No. 4 seed Martin Methodist (23-30) today in the TranSouth Conference Tournament at Freed-Hardeman University.  Trevecca lost 3-2 and were eliminated from the tournament.

Trevecca fell behind early 2-0 in the game when the rains came and play was postponed in the bottom of the second inning.  As the game resumed the Red Hawks added to their lead with a run in the bottom of the fourth inning.  Trevecca attempted to rally with two runs in the top of the sixth, but couldn't manage anymore runs and were eliminated from the tournament.

Wendy Allen took the loss and fell to 10-7 on the year.  Trevecca was held to just five hits and committed an error.  Martin Methodist had 10 hits and played errorless defense.
