(Lady Trojan Field) -- The Trevecca softball team (29-11, 8-6) defeated Lindsey Wilson College (17-15) in a doubleheader by the final scores of 5-0 and 13-2.

(Game 1) -- Sophomore Hollie Shane hurled a complete game shutout in the first game giving up only 5 hits through 7 innings. The Lady Trojans put across one run in the second inning then added three more in the fourth and another in the fifth inning to take the 5-0 win. Shane improved to 15-6 on the year in the winning effort.

(Game 2) -- Lady Trojan senior Wendy Allen held Lindsey Wilson to only two runs on six hits for her 9th win of the season while Trevecca pounded out 13 runs on 19 hits to cruise to a 13-2 victory. With a five run first inning, one run in the second and two more in the third, Trevecca held an 8-0 lead before Lindsey Wilson finally scraped one run across the plate in the fourth. The Lady Trojans added five more runs in the bottom of the 4th in the winning effort.
