The Trevecca softball team (25-11, 6-6) hosted Judson College on
Friday in an attempt to break a six game losing streak.
(Game One) -- Trevecca broke their six game losing streak with a
slim 3-2 defeat over Judson College in the first game. Starter Wendy
Allen scattered 8 hits giving up only 2 runs and improving to 7-4 on
the season. Sophomore Hollie Shane picked up the save in the winning
effort.
(Game Two) -- Lady Trojan Sophomore Hollie Shane threw a no
hitter in the second game as the Trevecca bats blasted four Judson
pitchers for 14 runs on 11 hits in four innings as the Lady Trojans
cruised to a 14-0 win. Trevecca jumped ahead 7-0 after two innings
when senior Courtney Alexander crushed a three run homer in the
third inning to give the Lady Trojans the win. This is the first
no-hitter of the season for Trevecca.
