(Tucson, Ariz.) -- The Lady Trojans (16-0) are spending spring
break at the Tucson Invitational Games in Tucson, Arizona. The T.I.
Games bring four sets of teams for a week at a time to play a full
week of games. Over the four weeks nearly 50 college softball teams
will play in the games.
(Game Two) -- Trevecca won the nightcap 9-2 despite falling
behind 1-0 after two innings. Trevecca bounced back with two in the
third and fourth innings to claim a 4-2 lead. The Trojans added
another run in the fifth and sealed the win with four in the sixth.
Trevecca's nine runs came on 17 hits and the team committed three
errors. Concordia had four hits. Hollie Shane (9-0) got the win with
another complete game. Concordia drops to 8-2 on the year. Rone'
Phelps had a 2-run homer, her third of the season. Evyn Terry was 2
for 3 with a triple. Jennifer Arnold was 3 for 4.
The 16-0 start is a school record for the best start in school
history and the most consecutive wins in school history.
