(Tucson, Ariz.) -- The Lady Trojans (12-0) are spending spring
break at the Tucson Invitational Games in Tucson, Arizona. The T.I.
Games bring four sets of teams for a week at a time and each will
play a full week of games. Over the four week period more nearly 50
different college softball teams will play in the games.
(Game Two) – Trevecca and Mount Saint Clare College (0-3) were
tied 3-3 until Trevecca broke the game open with four runs in the
bottome of the fourth inning. Trevecca added another run in the
bottom of the sixth in support of starting pitcher Wendy Allen.
Allen pitched a complete game and improved to 3-0 on the year.
Trevecca produced 15 hits and no errors. MTSC had seven hits and an
error. Jami Toomey was 3 for 4 in the game and Courtney Alexander
was 2 for 3 with another 2 RBI. On the day Alexander was 4 for 7
with two doubles, a grand slam, and 8 RBI.
