(Lady Trojan Field) -- The Lady Trojans (4-0, 2-0) opened the TranSouth Athletic Conference season with a visit from Freed-Hardeman University.

(Game 1) - Trevecca opened the conference season with a 7-2 victory. Wendy Allen pitched a complete game for her first victory of the year. Trevecca pounded out 12 hits and played errorless ball. Freed-Hardeman scored their two runs with five hits and committed two errors.

(Game 2) - In the second game, the Lady Trojans picked up right where they left off led by sophomore Hollie Shane whose masterful 2 hit shutout from the mound kept the Freed-Hardeman bats in check. Trevecca jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after one inning then never looked back scoring one more in the fourth inning and three runs in the fifth for the 5-0 win. Shane is now 3-0 on the season.

Next up, Trevecca will play at Campbellsville College on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m., then will return home Thursday at they host Mid-Continent at 3:00 p.m.
