(Nashville, Tenn.) -- Trevecca started hot (hit 9-of-15 first half three-pointers), but found the Blue Devils wouldn't go away without a fight. Trevecca eventually pulled away in the final minute to seal a 84-73 victory.

Dillard University led Trevecca 8-2 after two minutes of play. The Blue Devils from New Orleans then saw Trevecca rally with a 27-7 run that put Trevecca up 29-15 with 10 minutes to go in the first half. Trevecca would go on to hold a 18 point lead before settling for a 15 point 48-33 lead at the halftime break.

In the second half Dillard showed they wouldn't roll over. The Blue Devils, who advanced to the NAIA National Tournament last year, went on a 11-1 run to start the second half and pulled to within five (49-44) with 17:12 remaining.
