Trevecca Nazarene University vs. Lambuth University
The men's basketball
team is playing in the Belhaven College Invitational in Jackson, MS
this weekend. Trevecca lost 121-88 to Lambuth University on Friday.
Trevecca trailed 50-37 at the break and trailed by as many as 40 in
the second half before closing the gap for the final score. Lambuth
had 8 players to score in double figures. Taurus Thomas led Lambuth
with 17 and Will Evan added 16. Marshall Hyler led Trevecca with 22
points and Will Partin added 18 points. Partin hit 4 three pointers
in the game. Jared Austin scored 13 and is just 8 points away from
scoring 1,000 in his Trevecca career. Trevecca is now 1-2 on the
season and Lambuth improved to 5-1. |
