(Jackson Field) -- The Trevecca baseball team (25-16, 7-9) hosted Lyon College (26-24, 5-11) on Friday for the first of three games this weekend.

Trevecca lost to Lyon at home by a score of 5-4 after giving up 4 runs on 6 walks in the ninth inning. The Trojans had a 4-1 lead behind Keith Black's pitching going into the last inning, but let 4 runs through on one walk by Black, four by B.J. Jenkins, and one walk and a wild pitch from Nathan Brown. Trevecca got a man on second in the bottom of the ninth but couldn't bring him home as Lyon's starter, Chuckie Stracener, got the complete game win.
