Trevecca Nazarene University vs. Tennessee Temple

(Jackson Field) -- Trevecca swept a pair from visiting Tennessee Temple University on Tuesday. In the first game Trevecca's Keith Black, Eddie Sanchez and Colby Rainey combined to pitch a perfect game in a 3-0 victory. The trio managed to strike 12 Temple batters out over seven innings. Trevecca managed six hits in Coach Jeff Forehands (3rd season) 50th career win with the Trojans. Keith Black started the game and threw for three innings; Eddie Sanchez (2-0) came in for relief in the 4th inning and got the win. Colby Rainey pitched the final two innings to pick up his first save of the year.

In game two Trevecca put 17 runs on the board, 12 in the second inning to walk away with a 17-3 victory. Scott Wiggins relieved B.J. Jenkins in the third and picked up his first win of the year. Lee Thompson, who pitched the 5th inning, joined in on the two hit pitching effort. In the double header Trevecca held Tennessee Temple to just 2 hits over 12 innings. Donnie Waller hit his second homer of the season.

Trevecca improved to 8-2
