(Montgomery, Ala.) -- The Trojan baseball team opened the season with a 6-5 upset of NAIA No. 8 Lambuth University in the 2003 Capital City Classic in Montgomery, Alabama. The start of the Trojan's upset of the Eagles was pushed back due to rain. The delay didn't prevent junior Keith Black from getting his first win of the year. Adam Duncan relieved Black to pick up the save. Trevecca's 13 hit attack was highlighted by Nick Hiter's solo homer in the sixth. Black and Duncan limited the Eagles to 9 hits.
