The Lady Trojan golf team is gearing up for its
first season of play in the 2000-2001 season. Coach Jane Loggins has
signed Deanna Doty from Wilsonville, Ore., and Meredith Watkins from
Paris, Tenn. They will join Susan Dennis, Hannah Baughard and
Chandra Ramey, who all attended Trevecca last year.
Watkins played varsity golf all four years at Henry County High
School. As a senior, Watkins placed third in the district
tournament, tied for third in the regional tournament and finished
10th in the state tournament. Doty played varsity golf all four
years at Wilsonville High School in Wilsonville, Ore.
