1999 - 2000 Trojan Golf
TREVECCA GOLF TEAM FINISHES SEASON STRONG
The first year Trevecca men’s golf team finished their first
season with a flurry. In the final regular season tournament the
team finished sixth in the 13 team Freed-Hardeman Tournament. Jacob
Ward finished 17th out of 63 golfers. The performance boosted the
teams confidence going into the TranSouth Tournament. The Trojans
finished sixth in the TSAC tournament, which qualified them for the
Region XI Tournament at the Bear Trace in Tullahoma, Tenn. Jacob
Ward continued his hot play and finished sixth in the TSAC
Tournament. Clint Swan was the top performer in the region
tournament. Swan finished 29th out of 61 golfers. The team finished
eighth of 13 teams in the region tournament.
