(03/15/01)–
Fifth seed Lewis-Clark State managed to hold off a
relentless second-half Lady Trojan attack that saw a 22-point halftime

settling for the 84-72 final in first round action at the NAIA Division
I Women’s Basketball Championship Wednesday at the Oman Arena.
Trevecca (19-13) shot a blistering 61.3 percent (19-of-31) in

three minutes of action aided the Lady Warriors win.

pulling down six rebounds. Brooke Cushman, a senior forward totaled 16
points and a game high eight rebounds in a reserve role. Guard Shannon
Russell, a junior, chipped in with 12 points for Lewis-Clark State
