from the outside in the first half. The Lady Trojans hit 8 of 9
three-point attempts in the first and pulled away for good with a 18-3
run midway through the first half. While leading 23-19 the Lady
Trojans rolled off a 18-3 run to claim a 41-22 lead with 3:59
remaining. Trevecca finished the half leading 53-29.
The Lady Trojans continued to roll in the
second half and finished Lee off with a 84-70 victory to even the
series at 5 games apiece.
Trevecca hit 32 of 61 (52.5%) from the field,
8 of 15 (53.3 %) from three-point range, and 12 of 14 (85.7%) from the
foul line. Trevecca won the battle of the boards 42-33 and forced Lee
into 17 turnovers with 8 steals.
Jennifer Wilson scored a game high 27 points,
grabbed 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and had 2 steals. Molly
Schoenberg scored 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Jamie Mills
had a huge game scoring her first three-point shot of the season and
led the team with 9 rebounds and seven assists. Mills also
scored 7 points and had a steal in the game. Stephanie Arnett
had 7 rebounds and hit 4 of 8 shots from the field. Ashley
Boykin scored 16 points and had 3 assists.
