(11-11-00)-After falling behind 1-0 to start the game Trevecca started
to build their lead with a 13-4 run that gave them a 8-point lead with
17:00 remaining in the first half. The Trojans continued to
build on their lead throughout the first half and held a 60-37 lead at
the half.
The second
half saw the Trojans repeat the hot shooting and team ball and built
their largest lead of the game at 95-62 (33 points) with 5:28
remaining in the game.
Jeremy Austin
led the Trojans attack with 20 points and hit 6 of 8 from the field,
while hitting 7 of 8 free throw attempts. Jared Austin had his
second double-double of the season with 10 points and 12
rebounds. Jared Austin also dished out 4 assists, had 2 steals
and a block. Michael Blivens scored 15 points, grabbed 5
rebounds, and led the team with 3 steals. Darryl Keckler led the
team with 5 assists and did some damage from long range. Keckler
hit 4 of 8 three-point attempts, grabbed 5 rebounds and scored 14
points.
Trevecca hit
38 of 72 (52.8%) from the field, 10 of 24 (41.7%)
from three-point range, and 15-24 (62.5%) from the foul line.
Trevecca won the battle of the boards 44-42 and forced Concordia into
27 turnovers.
