Cleveland, TN (1/29/01)-Lee started
the game on fire and ran off a 19-5 run that the Trojans never
recovered from. Trevecca did close the game to 19-10 (with
10:12 to go in the first half), but couldn't sustain their
run. Lee 14-4 run and claimed a 33-14 lead with 5:44 remaining
in the first half. Lee led 42-27 at the half.
Trevecca did pull to within 12
points (64-52) with 9:22 remaining in the game. Lee would
rally again and put the Trojans away with a 21-9 run that put the
Flames ahead 85-61 with 3:37 to go in the game.
Trevecca hit 22 of 58 (37.9%) from
the field, 5 of 22 (22.7%) from three-point range, and 21 of 23
(91.3%) from the foul line. Lee won the battle of the boards
42-32 and Lee forced 24 turnovers on the Trojans with 8
steals.
Michael Blivens led the Trojans
with 17 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Jared Austin scored 14
points. Darryl Keckler led the team with 8 rebounds.
Will Partin and Eric Addie led the team with 4 assists and Partin
scored 12 points.
