Jackson, TN (01/16/01)-Union started the game with a couple of runs that saw the home team build its lead to 10 by halftime.  At one point in the first half Union held a 13 point lead.  The Trojans would rally several times and keep the Bulldogs within reach with solid shooting and forcing the Bulldogs into several turnovers.

In the first half senior Michael Blivens became the 24th Trojan to score 1,000 points in his Trevecca career.  Blivens reached the milestone in the fewest games.  Sandy McClain reached the 1,000 point mark in his 54th game at Trevecca, while Blivens reached the mark in his 51st game at Trevecca.
